This week, for our debut episode, we are going to deal with how anxiety can impact our decision making and what we can do to make better decisions while facing anxiety. Keilani is a mental health therapist with specializations in mindfulness and neuroscience who also happens to be my co-host and wife.
We will talk about some of the science behind anxiety and evidence based ways we can deal with it and enhance our ability to make good decisions even in tough times!
This week we interview Diane Borders, a microbiologist, holistic health practitioner, and author of the book "Keep My Son, A Mother's Unprecedented Battle and Victory over Her Son's Mental Illness." Diane walks us through her journey from microbiology to researching DNA and genetics as she fought, and succeeded, in freeing her son from the crippling symptoms of schizophrenia. We also talk to Diane about her work at New Mutant, where she helps everyday people improve their health by creating customized plans based on mutations and deficiencies she isolates and identifies in their DNA and Methylation Pathways. You can check out Diane's work by visiting her website at www.newmutant.com
This week we talk to James Cavanah, founder, and owner of KREADIVONE Marketing and Creative Agency, about creative marketing. COVID-19 has really caused many businesses to re-evaluate how they interact with the public, how they promote their brand, and their readiness and ability to pivot on short notice. James shares some stories from recent advertising he has been a part of and talks about the importance of knowing your brand. We also get into some fun stories from James about immigrating from England and the process of becoming an American. Enjoy!
